Teaching Academy Publication Stipend
The Teaching Academy at the Larner College of Medicine sustains and supports an interprofessional/interdisciplinary community of educators who value the scholarship of teaching and learning while facilitating educator development; improve the efficiency and quality of medical education through collaboration and scholarship; and promote an academic environment that increases the value and impact of educators locally, regionally, and nationally.
The Teaching Academy Publication Stipend is dedicated to helping Members defray publication costs of up to $500 for manuscripts on healthcare or medical education-related topics accepted for publication in education journals or education-focused sections of relevant academic journals.
Application accepted on a rolling basis.
Eligibility and details:
- Any LCOM Teaching Academy member. Must have a manuscript accepted for publication in a healthcare/medical education journal or education-focused section of a relevant academic journal.
- A maximum of $500 will be awarded. Funds are available on a first come, first serve basis.
- Applicants will receive a decision within 30 days of submission.
- You are required to add the following statement acknowledging the support of the Teaching Academy. “Publication was supported by The Teaching Academy, Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont”
- Required Application Components
