Division of Plastic, Reconstructive & Cosmetic Surgery
The Division of Plastic Surgery consist of four plastic surgeons. The team also includes physician assistants, a staff of skilled nurses and a knowledgeable office staff who make every effort to ensure their patients' needs are met or exceeded. The experience of the surgeons and staff is quite extensive, as they had 5392 clinic visits, including in-office minor procedures, and 637 surgeries performed in the operating room in 2011. The Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Clinic is located at 354 Watertower Hill in Colchester.
Education
Our faculty is dedicated not only to providing excellent care, but also to teaching residents and medical students. Those rotating on the plastic surgery service obtain an intensive exposure to wound management and one-on-one instruction in suturing.
Research
Our division publishes clinical case reports, chapters and on-line review articles. The faculty welcomes the chance to collaborate with motivated students in writing these clinical publications.
