    As the US begins to see demand for COVID-19 vaccines plateau, some states have started implementing incentive programs to encourage residents to get one of the three vaccines available: Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson. Recently announced incentive programs are supported by numerous research studies that support the efficacy of incentivizing vaccine adherence.

    In this presentation, Dr. Harder shares results from a baseline needs assessment survey with practitioners across Vermont and New Hampshire related to substance use and treatment. Learn about the level of concern that practitioners have for many substances including opioids, stimulants, cannabis, and tobacco, and about their beliefs related to treatment. Learn about the barriers that practitioners and patients face in relation to providing and seeking treatment for opioid use disorder, how comfortable practitioners feel treating opioid use disorder, and how comfort and barriers are related.

    In light of the concerns voiced by students across campus over the past week regarding the University's sexual assault prevention, reporting and survivor support services, we wish to underscore the University’s clear position that sexual harassment, sexual assault, gender-based stalking, relationship violence, and all other forms of sexual misconduct are prohibited at UVM and at the Larner College of Medicine.
