- September 25, 2023, from 12:00-1:00pm: Perinatal Bereavement Series - Session 2 is for obstetric, pediatric, family medicine providers and practice staff. This session will expand on session 1 and will
be presented by Carol McMurrich, MA, Director of Empty Arms Bereavement Support of Massachusetts.
*Carol McMurrich has extensive experience working with parents and families and providing education on grief and loss to hospital units, university nursing courses, midwifery practices, doula groups, and hospital groups. Session one is a brief overview that will cover some basics around language to use, what a "typical" grief process looks like, and how to incorporate a history of loss into the caregiving of living children.

- October 3, 2023, from 8:00am-4:00pm: Child Health Advances Measured in Practice (CHAMP) Network 2023 Learning Session: Improving Vermont’s System of Care for Developmental and Autism Assessment and Follow-Up
The CHAMP Practice Network now includes fifty (50) pediatric, family medicine and naturopathic practices and engages practices of all sizes and from all regions of the state. Practices may join at any time throughout the year. If interested in joining, please contact the CHAMP Project Director, at vchip.champ@med.uvm.edu.
- October 24, 2023, from 12:00-1:00pm: Second Victims: Supporting Healthcare Providers After Adverse Events
Dr. Aneesa Stewart is a Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellow at UVMMC and comes to us from the Mayo Clinic where they have a robust provider support system to help health care providers after a difficult event – also known as the second victims of an adverse outcome. Dr. Stewart will provide an overview of this topic along with tactics for support for health care providers after a serious event. This is a part of a larger education and training initiative and more information on that will also be provided during this webinar.

- October 31, 2023, from 12:00-1:00pm: Demystifying Nurse Home Visiting: Increasing Acceptance of Prenatal and Postpartum Services
Katy Leffel will present reflections from physician champions about how to talk to families about the benefits of nurse home visiting, and how they promote and integrate referrals to nurse home visiting in their practice.
