(July 11, 2018) According to the CDC, more than a million burn injuries requiring medical attention occur in the United States each year. Margaret Tandoh, M.D., UVM assistant professor of surgery, spoke with Burlington, Vt.-based WCAX-TV Channel 3 about burn risks and ways parents can protect their kids against burns from playground equipment and other sources during the hot summer months.
