OnCore: Resources and Support

OnCore is a Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) designed to streamline the management of clinical research studies from start to finish.

To ensure a successful implementation and ongoing support for OnCore users, UVM provides the following resources and support channels:

Feedback and Support Emails:

Training Materials and Demos:

  • On-demand training courses are available through Advarra University (https://advarrauniversity.learnupon.com/users/sign_in), covering various aspects of OnCore functionality and best practices.
  • Step-by-step demos and tutorials can be requested from the UVM OnCore team and scheduled to walk through specific system features or processes, such as activating a study, adding a research subject, building a study calendar, or updating study statuses.
  • Training manuals and Tip sheets will be provided to assist.

User Guides and Documentation: Comprehensive user guides, and other documentation are available to support the effective use and understanding of OnCore's features and workflows.

Dedicated Support Team: Our institution has a dedicated OnCore support team available at OnCoreSupport@med.uvm.eduto address any questions, concerns, or issues that may arise during the implementation or ongoing use of the system.

On-Demand Learning Portal:  The system provides a help link that contains a library of announcements, training modules, system releases, and most importantly definitions and helpful information to help you understand system functionality.


By leveraging these resources and support channels, research teams can ensure a smooth transition to OnCore.  They will continue to receive guidance and assistance as needed throughout the system's lifecycle.

Request access to UVM’s OnCore:

 

Step 1: Complete the Access Request Form (ARF)

Step 2:  Supervisor approval is required.  Automatic email is sent to them after Step 1

Step 3:  An Advarra University (AU) account will be created for you.  You must activate your AU account and notify OnCoreSupport@med.uvm.edu with the subject line “AU account activation – Firstname.Lastname” 

Step 4:  Training modules will be assigned to you based on your requested staff roles

Step 5:  You will complete the required AU trainings and notify OnCoreSupport@med.uvm.edu with the subject line: “AU assigned modules completed – Firstname.Lastname” 

Step 6:  A live training session will be scheduled, and invitation sent to you

Step 7:  Upon completion of the live training, your OnCore account will be setup same-day
