Schottel Study on Nonoperative Geriatric Hip Fracture Treatment Highlighted in Orthopedics This Week

(JUNE 3, 2019) A study co-authored by UVM Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Patrick Schottel, M.D., on the mortality rate associated with nonoperative versus operative treatment of geriatric hip fractures received attention recently in Orthopedics This Week.

(JUNE 3, 2019) A study co-authored by UVM Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Patrick Schottel, M.D., on the mortality rate associated with nonoperative versus operative treatment of geriatric hip fractures received attention recently in Orthopedics This Week. The study, "Nonoperative Geriatric Hip Fracture Treatment is Associated with Increased Mortality," can be found in the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma.
