About Us

Improvement Science focuses on optimizing healthcare practices that result in quality care that is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.

The UVM Health Network Department of Medicine Quality Program is designed to support faculty across the network in designing, implementing, analyzing, and sharing the results of quality improvement (QI), patient safety, and High Value Care projects.

We serve as a resource center and laboratory to support improvement in care delivery, education and training, and scholarship in quality, safety, and value in the Department of Medicine at the UVM Health Network and the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine.
