(April 24, 2019) A story that aired on local CBS affiliate WCAX-TV Channel 3 featured Prema Menon, M.D., a UVM assistant professor of medicine and pulmonary and critical care specialist, and a pulmonary fibrosis patient who is active in the support group Menon founded one year ago. Menon spoke about the groundbreaking research currently taking place in the Vermont Lung Center, saying, "We're creating these mini lungs and looking at if these new patented catalysts can actually reverse fibrosis in humans, which is such a step forward in the research."
