  • Updated OBGYN residency application guidelines and Altus: The Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) has updated the recommended guidelines for the 2021-22 application and interview cycle, and the use of Altus Assessments by Ob-Gyn residency programs in the application process.
  • SUO/AADO/OPDO - UPDATED Statement on Virtual Interviews: In light of the growing concerns around the evolving pandemic and the recent Coalition for Physician Accountability recommendations for the upcoming recruitment cycle, SUO/AADO/OPDO strongly urges all residency programs to conduct only virtual interviews for the 2021-2022 residency selection season. 
  • The above recommendations/updates are listed on the ERAS 2022 Participating Specialties and Programs webpage and in the ‘ERAS Specialties with Additional Information Report’ (located at the top of the page). Refer to this page throughout the season, as this page will be updated as specialty requirements are shared. • Booking Med Ed 302-303 as One Big Room: Student groups can indeed reserve Med Ed 302 and 303 and have the wall removed to host a bigger group. However, to do so requires a $40 work order with UVM. Thus, to use these rooms as a combines space, students must:
  • secure the budget approval with their Student Council Chair of Finance for the $40 charge,
  • reserve both rooms, and
  • email Kiersten Hallquist with the time you need the wall removed and when it can go back up, so she can submit a work order for the wall.
