About Us

The Office of Medical Education supports high quality educational programs and services for medical students and faculty development in educational methods.

The office has oversight of the medical curriculum, clinical education, grading and evaluations, academic success programs, student affairs, and National Board examinations including USMLE examinations. Our goals follow from our mission to facilitate continual enhancement of the medical curriculum through support of educational programs for students and faculty, and through promotion of education innovation. We do this in a variety of ways including:

  • Administrative support for faculty of integrated, interdisciplinary programs for medical education.
  • Maintenance of a variety of methods of communication about teaching between faculty and students, and college administration.
  • Rewards programs for excellence in teaching.
  • Awards and grants for innovation in courses and improvement of educational methods
