Working with the Vermont Breast Cancer Surveillance System
We welcome interest in collaboration with the Vermont Breast Cancer Surveillance System (VBCSS). Our data repository includes over 1 million mammograms, breast ultrasound exams, and breast MRI exams conducted in the state of Vermont since 1994 among about 250,000 women, with about 10,000 breast cancer diagnoses.
The Vermont Breast Cancer Surveillance System (VBCSS) also encourages collaboration through our national consortium, the Breast Cancer Surveillance Consortium (BCSC), which includes data from the VBCSS and a number of other breast imaging registries around the country. Guidelines for collaborating with the BCSC and accessing BCSC data are available here. The BCSC repository also offers publicly available de-identified datasets corresponding to some of our key publications. To access these datasets, click here.
Please contact our Project Manager Tiffany Sharp if you are interested in learning more about potential opportunities for collaboration and access the VBCSS data repository.
