(JANUARY 16, 2023) Martin Keller, M.D., associate professor of pediatric surgery, is a co-author of a study that found increased pediatric firearm injury and death rates tied to the COVID pandemic, HealthDay News reported. The study, published in the Journal of Pediatric Surgery, was conducted by Keller along with researchers from the University of Missouri School of Medicine, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, and St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
