Sen. Sanders & HRSA Administrator Roundtable Discussion at Larner on NBC5

(AUGUST 26, 2022) NBC5 covered a roundtable discussion hosted by Vt. Sen. Bernie Sanders focusing on the lack of nurses in the state. Among the participants was Noma Anderson, Ph.D., professor of communication sciences and disorders and dean of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

(AUGUST 26, 2022) In a story aired on NBC5, Noma Anderson, Ph.D., professor of communication sciences and disorders and dean of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, was among the participants in a roundtable discussion hosted by Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders focusing on the lack of nurses in the state. Sanders brought Carole Johnson of the United States Health Resources and Services Administration to help advance the conversation around the widespread staffing issues and learn more about how shortages are affecting medical professionals.
