UVM Hosts Second Symposium for Heart and Brain Health

The Vermont Center for Cardiovascular and Brain Health's annual symposium was featured in a news story on ABC22 and Fox44. on June 1.

The Vermont Center for Cardiovascular and Brain Health's annual symposium was featured in a news story on ABC22 and Fox44. Reporter Sam Israel went to the symposium at the Davis Center and interviewed several researchers who presented at the two-day event, including Class of 2023 medical student Sam Short, recent DPT degree recipient Swapna Balakrishnan, PT, DPT, NCS, Assistant Professor of Medicine Katharine Cheung, M.D., Ph.D., and Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences Denise Peters, PT, DPT, Ph.D. Cheung and Peters are project directors on the VCCBH grant.
