(MARCH 17, 2017) News of the election of David A. Halsey, M.D., clinical professor of orthopaedics and rehabilitation at the Larner College of Medicine and orthopaedic surgeon at the UVM Medical Center, as the first vice president of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), received broad coverage. Halsey was elected by the AAOS Board of Director at the organization's 2017 annual meeting.
