Julie Dumas, Ph.D., associate professor of psychiatry at the Larner College of Medicine, comments on a new study suggesting that hormonal shifts could be the reason for memory issues among post-menopausal women.

(OCTOBER 13-14) Julie Dumas, Ph.D., associate professor of psychiatry at the Larner College of Medicine, comments on a new study suggesting that hormonal shifts could be the reason for memory issues among post-menopausal women. Dumas notes that to combat this “brain fog”, one should focus on increasing their physical activity instead of looking toward hormone replacements to increase memory function.
