Cellular & Molecular Core
The COBRE Neuroscience Cellular and Molecular Core at the University of Vermont facilitates development of molecular approaches by individuals whose expertise lies outside molecular biology. The core consists of a well-equipped molecular biology laboratory with technical staff and consultation service to help individuals develop molecular approaches to their research. The core is not meant as a service facility to provide molecular biology services to established molecular biology laboratories; however, the core maintains several multi-user instruments (centrifuges, imagers, etc.) available to all. The Core is located in 427A Health Science Research Facility and staffed by the Manager, Sheryl White (802) 656-2007, and Technician, Thomas Buttolph (802) 656-4549.
