The Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology Unit offers comprehensive care for individuals with arthritis, systemic inflammatory diseases and musculoskeletal problems. The faculty includes seven Rheumatologists and a Nurse Practitioner, who see patients five days a week at the Gartman Medicine Specialty Center located in the Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) on the campus of the University of Vermont. We have 24 hour, 7 days per week coverage for inpatient consultations.  We provide point of care Musculoskeletal Ultrasound performed by a RhMSUS certified rheumatologist.

Basic research is supported by the laboratory facilities and faculty of the Immunobiology Program located in the Given Building at UVM.

The clinical research programs operate from our teaching partner, The Larner College of Medicine.
