Audio Visual (COMAV)

The Audio-Visual department at the Larner College of Medicine can assist you with all of your multimedia needs. Our staff has a wide range of experience with all aspects of presentation technology. We provide the following services to students, faculty and staff:

Videoconferencing

The ability to video conference across vast distances has never been easier, and we can help you navigate through the myriad of possibilities that are out there. Whether you need to watch a webinar, attend a lecture from a different time zone or participate in a meeting from another state, the LCOM AV staff can help. We have several fully-equipped rooms on site for you to use. If you prefer to connect from your office, we can optimize the hardware and software you have or recommend the equipment you need.

Classroom Support

Our department manages and maintains all the classrooms, lecture halls and conference rooms at the Larner College of Medicine. We make sure that the technology works, and give tutorials on how to use it effectively. Most of our rooms also have a “Help Button”- if you are having trouble with any of our equipment or need technical assistance during a class or meeting, press the button and one of our staff will be in the room within minutes to help you solve the problem. Lastly, we keep an inventory of loaner equipment for you to borrow- items such as speakerphones, webcams, video cameras, LCD projectors and screens, and a portable PA system.

Please review our room & technology equipment list.
