Are you interested in sharing your educational work and building your academic education credentials (whether you are starting from scratch or have done a lot…or anywhere in between)?

This is an open invitation to submit a poster about your educational work, innovation, or research at a receptive and welcoming event.  We are seeking poster submissions (whether current or recently presented work) for the 2025 Snow Season Education Retreat. This will be an opportunity for UVM LCOM educators to share ideas and to collaborate across departments. We are particularly interested in work related to the education of professionals across the continuum of learners.

Categories:

Innovations: Descriptions of innovations in teaching, assessment, educational administration.

Research: Studies on topics related to health professions education. All approaches to inquiry (e.g., qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods, systematic review) are welcome.

Quality Improvement: Examples of CQI approaches applied to health professions education.

We will consider posters you have presented at previous venues, other than Teaching Academy events.

The Snow Season Education Retreat will be held on Thursday, January 16 and Friday, January 17, 2025.  If your abstract is selected, you will be expected to attend the Poster Session on Friday, January 17, 2025, in-person at the Davis Center. If you request a peer-review for your poster, you must be present during the Snow Season Poster Session.

The deadline for poster abstract submission is November 4, 2024. The Submission form is available online. Abstract must be no more than 300 words. Please submit your poster proposal to Teaching.Academy@med.uvm.edu
