Randall F. Holcombe, MD, MBA will join us this August as Director of the UVM Cancer Center and Division Chief of Hematology and Oncology where he will hold the J. Walter Juckett Chair in Cancer Research.
Dr. Holcombe has had an exceptional career in cancer research and leadership. He has been successful in developing translational research programs and conducting clinical trials
with his current focus on health care delivery science. He has had leadership roles at NCI-designated cancer centers and will be joining UVM having successfully lead the University of Hawaii to regain designation as a Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute.
Dr. Holcombe has enthusiastically engaged in discussions about planning for the future of the Cancer Center and clinical services and we look forward to his arrival in August.
