Vieth Featured in WCAX Interview on Violence Against Frontline Health Care Staff

(OCTOBER 27, 2023) Julie Vieth, M.D., assistant professor of emergency medicine and assistant medical director of the Emergency Department at the University of Vermont Medical Center, was featured in a story on WCAX-TV about a UVM Health Network project spotlighting violence against frontline health care staff.

(OCTOBER 27, 2023) Julie Vieth, M.D., assistant professor of emergency medicine and assistant medical director of the Emergency Department at the University of Vermont Medical Center, was featured in a story on WCAX-TV about a UVM Health Network project spotlighting violence against frontline health care staff.

UVMHN has launched a storytelling project that brings to light physical and verbal violence faced by the medical staff when caring for patients. The “End the Silence on Health Care Violence” project’s first story was published earlier this week in the New York Times.
