(MAY 2, 2022) Commenting on another wave of COVID infections and hospitalizations in Vermont for a story titled Vermont Sees New Wave of COVID Infections, Hospitalizations,” Professor of Medicine Tim Lahey, M.D., M.M.Sc., told WCAX-TV Channel 3’s Christina Guessferd, “We want to be able to live our lives, but we also want to recognize when those are leading to enough cases and enough hospitalizations that we have to be more careful again.” Getting a booster is still your best bet for avoiding hospitalization and death, Lahey said.
