Phil Ades, MD Receives Distinguished Mentor Award

On Friday, June 11, 2021, Phil Ades, MD, associate director of VCBH and director of cardiac rehabilitation in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the UVM Medical Center, received the UVM Larner College of Medicine's Department of Medicine’s Distinguished Mentor Award.
On Friday, June 11, 2021, Phil Ades, MD, associate director of VCBH and director of cardiac rehabilitation in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the UVM Medical Center, received the UVM Larner College of Medicine's Department of Medicine’s Distinguished Mentor Award. This honor is bestowed upon “the most accomplished and widely-recognized practicing physicians based on their recognition as an outstanding clinician, reputation as a ‘physician’s physician,’ and their exceptional contributions in education, scholarship, administration or community service.” Sherrie Khadanga, assistant professor of medicine and a VCBH project director, presented Dr. Ades with the award during Medicine Grand Rounds.
