Carr Speaks with WCAX about New Federal PFOA Health Standard

Frances Carr, M.D., UVM professor of pharmacology, was interviewed live on WCAX-TV Channel 3 on June 29, 2018 regarding the new federal PFOA health standard. PFOA is a carcinogen that can interfere with the hormonal system and immune system and has been found in various parts of Vermont. A recent report by US Health and Human services found that the current federal health standard for PFOA is too high. Watch the full interview here.
