Levine’s Appointment to Vermont’s Commissioner of Health Featured in Local Media

On Wednesday, January 4, newly-inaugurated Governor Phil Scott for Vermont announced the appointment of Mark Levine, M.D., professor of medicine and associate dean for graduate medical education at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM, as Vermont's Commissioner of Health.

(JANUARY 4-5, 2017) On Wednesday, January 4, newly-inaugurated Governor Phil Scott for Vermont announced the appointment of Mark Levine, M.D., professor of medicine and associate dean for graduate medical education at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM, as Vermont's Commissioner of Health. Levine, who is also Designated Institutional Official at the UVM Medical Center, succeeds Harry Chen, M.D., who served as Commissioner for the Shumlin Administration since 2011.
