The Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont places an important focus on mental and physical wellbeing. Faculty and students collaborate extensively to improve student life, touching on everything from life outside of school to the curriculum itself. This includes a variety of interest groups, like weekly yoga, participation in intramural sports, musical talent shows, as well as initiatives from the Wellness Committee to support student mental health. This student-centered approach is one we believe will cultivate a positive learning environment, as well as personal growth and wellness during the medical school journey and beyond.
We also invite you to visit the Larner College of Medicine Wellness Committee webpage. The Wellness Committee is a group of faculty and student-elected medical student representatives who spearhead several projects and initiatives to improve student health and wellbeing.
