Hands-on Training in State-of-the-Art Methods in Stem Cells, Cell Therapies, and Bioengineering
Monday, July 7, 2025

The Pre-Conference Workshop is a full day program featuring hands-on training in state-of-the-art techniques in stem cells, cell therapies and bioengineering. Scientific skills sessions are often offered, as well.

The workshop is geared primarily toward trainees and junior investigators, at a price designed to encourage them to participate and learn new techniques in the field, but all investigators (excluding those representing industry) are welcome to attend.

Until the program for the 2025 workshop is posted here, you can view the 2023 Pre-Conference Workshop agenda.

Outstanding Abstract Achievement Presentation Awards
and Poster Presentation Awards

Outstanding Abstract Achievement Presentation Awards will be awarded to Junior Investigators and Trainees whose abstracts are selected through a blinded review process. The top abstracts will be selected for oral presentation at the conference. Two of the trainee awards will specifically be allotted to support participation of women, minorities and/or those with disability. These oral presentation awards will cover the conference registration fee.

In addition to the oral presentation awards, competitively selected research posters will be judged during the conference in Poster Presentation Sessions. Awards will be given to the top poster presentation in each session.

More details to come.

"Minute to Win It" / Elevator Pitch Competition

The 2023 conference featured an elevator pitch competition where Junior Investigators and Trainees presented a one-minute synopsis of their research. The top two elevator pitches received awards. We hope this feature will be back in 2025.
