Policy Statement
The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Careers in Medicine (CiM) program is used in our advising system to assist students with the process of exploring and choosing
specialties. Workshops, discussion groups, activities and meetings with preceptors and other faculty members, including the Associate/Assistant Dean for Students, take place throughout medical school. These activities are designed to facilitate the career
planning process.
