Klein Talks Burnout in Vermont Edition Q&A

(SEPTEMBER 27, 2022) Psychiatrist Kelley-Anne Klein, M.D., joined UVM associate professor of education Justin Garwood, Ph.D., and wellness expert Ryan Grey on Vermont Edition for a live call-in discussion on burnout.

(SEPTEMBER 27, 2022) Kelley-Anne Klein, M.D., clinical assistant professor of psychiatry and medical director at the Vermont Department of Mental Health, a practicing psychiatrist who specializes in emergency care and addiction, joined Justin Garwood, associate professor at the UVM College of Education and Social Services, who has a U.S. Department of Education grant to study special education teacher burnout, and Ryan Grey, director of health and wellness at the Greater Burlington YMCA, for a live call-in discussion on Vermont Edition focusing on burnout.

Topics included what causes burnout, the toll it takes on people's physical and mental health, and tips to prevent or recover from burnout.
