Don’t miss the new ASH Guideline Implementation Champions Webinar, taking place on April 18 at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time and hear from one of our Pilot Project Awardees as a guest on this expert panel! Developed to improve quality of care for patients, ASH Clinical Practice Guidelines feature recommendations for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of sickle cell disease, venous thromboembolism, pulmonary embolism, immune thrombocytopenia, acute myeloid leukemia, von Willebrand disease, and other disease areas in the field of hematology. This webinar will highlight three successful cases where the implementation of strategies, programs, and initiatives increased the utilization and application of a disease-specific recommendation(s), including the project led by one of our Pilot Project Awardees, Dr. Chris Holmes! The webinar will focus on:

  • How the implementation concept was initiated/originated based on the set of recommendations for a particular disease.
  • Specific examples of how that project was implemented at the point of care.
  • A discussion on the barriers, opportunities, and scalability of the project's implementation.
