Shahid Ahmed, M.D. - Assistant Professor of Medicine

Dr. Ahmed is a hematologist/oncologist at The University of Vermont Cancer Center and an assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at The University of Vermont. He specializes in GU, & melanoma. His research interests include understanding and mitigating the adverse effects of immunotherapies, understanding and targeting cancer metabolomics and clinical trials in Prostate, Bladder, Kidney, Testicular and Skin cancers.








Diego Adrianzen Herrera, M.D. - Assistant Professor of Medicine


Diego Andrianzen Herrera, M.D.Dr. Adrianzen Herrera is a hematologist/oncologist at The University of Vermont Cancer Center and an assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at The University of Vermont. He specializes in malignant hematology and hematopoietic stem cell transplant.  His research interests include novel molecular targets and cellular therapies for blood cancers.





Sakshi Jasra, M.D. - Assistant Professor of Medicine

Dr. Jasra is a hematologist/oncologist at The University of Vermont Cancer Center and an assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at The University of Vermont. She specializes in malignant and benign hematology. Her research interests include barriers to improving oncology clinical trial enrollment in rural populations, exploring mechanisms and clinical relevance of clonal hematopoiesis and novel treatment approaches for myelodysplastic syndromes and acute leukemias.
