Patricia Prelock, Ph.D. and Polly Parsons, M.D. will serve as co-chairs of the Larner College of Medicine Dean Search Committee

University of Vermont President Tom Sullivan and Provost and Senior Vice President David Rosowksy recently announced the names of the members of the search committee for the new Dean of the Larner College of Medicine. Current Dean Frederick Morin, M.D., announced on August 30, 2017 that he will step down from his role as dean in fall 2018, after a successor has been named. 

Members of the search committee are:

The committee is scheduled to hold its first meeting on October 30, 2017.

In an October 18, 2017 communication from President Sullivan and Provost Rosowsky, the two leaders stated that they “expect the search to unfold over the course of this academic year” and said that among the committee’s first charges is the “development of a position announcement that will lay out the attractive opportunities and stimulating challenges that the next dean must embrace."
