Join the University of Vermont's Larner College of Medicine and UVM Medical Center on May 2 for the third lecture of the Spring 2017 Community Medical School series! Robert Gramling, M.D., D.Sc., will discuss “Conversations in Serious Illness: Improving Clinician-Patient-Family Communication” starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Carpenter Auditorium in the Given Building on the UVM campus.

Gramling is the Miller Chair of Palliative Medicine and an associate professor of family medicine at the Larner College of Medicine. He will discuss the Vermont Palliative Care Communication Initiative, which strives to evoke highly effective communication between clinicians and seriously ill patients and their loved ones.
