Continuing Medical and Interprofessional Education

IPCE Criteria

In order to have Interprofessional Continuing Education Credit, you will need to meet the following criteria:

• At least 2 professions on the planning committee (eg RN + Physician - you can have more)
• The planning committee is reflective of target audience
• The information that will be presented is applicable to both/all groups
• There will be an opportunity to learn with and about each other
  • presenters from various professions
  • question and answer session
  • panel discussion
  • if enduring/online-discussion board
• Designed to change performance of the team and/or patient outcomes
