Overview

Dermatology Update for Primary Care is designed for the non-dermatologist and will focus on practical office dermatology. Primary care physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and other medical professionals with an interest in dermatology are encouraged to attend.
Faculty will present a wide spectrum of common dermatological problems and emphasize effective management. Ample opportunity will be given for questions during lectures and at the end of each session. Two optional hands-on workshops will feature biopsy, excision, simple repairs, cryosurgery and electrocautery techniques.

The University of Vermont designates this live internet activity for a maximum of 11.25 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This program has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 11.25 Nursing Contact Hours.

The AAFP has reviewed the 2021 Dermatology Update for Primary Care Conference and deemed it acceptable for up to 11.25 In-Person, Live (could include online) AAFP Prescribed credit. Term of Approval is from 10/07/2021 to 10/08/2021. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Please note, if you do not participate in the optional workshops, the conference is accredited for 8.75 credits.

Determination of pharmacotherapeutic credit is pending.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Doubletree By Hilton Hotel located at 870 Williston Road in South Burlington. Individual guest reservations may be made by calling 800-445-8667. Please mention your participation in this course to receive the conference rate of $169 per night. Discounted room rates expire on September 13, 2021. To ensure room choice and availability, it is recommended that you make your room reservations as soon as possible as the hotel sells out during this time of year.

Refunds, minus an administrative fee of $75, will be made only if notice of cancellation is received, in writing, by September 7, 2021. No refunds are possible after that date.
